The Wandering Ox range of Chinese herbal products are handmade by Lee using only the finest ingredients and packaged as sustainably as possible.

All of the products have been developed with one thing in mind – restoring balance and preserving well-being. They are also a useful addition in the clinic for Chinese medicine and bodywork practitioners alike as well as for personal use.

We take the view, that if you are putting anything into or onto your body, it should be of the highest quality.

Our formulas are 100% natural, Vegan, cruelty-free and do not contain any synthetic preservatives, colours, fragrances or petrochemical-based substances. All herbs are 100% sulphur free, tested for pesticides, heavy metals and microbials and fully traceable to source.

Every product is carefully made using traditional methods by hand in small batches.

Preparing, mixing and producing the final product is an opportunity to connect with the raw material in a personal way. This essential, personal contribution to the entire process, is something that is often lost from modern production methods, in favour of quantity rather than quality.

Based on traditional formulas that have been modified to provide the greatest benefit without sacrificing the wisdom and methods that are millenia-tested.

All modifications have been tested and carefully refined over several years, with ongoing study and patients’ feedback continuing to inform the effectiveness and safety of the formulas.

Wherever possible, we choose containers and packaging that’s kind to the environment.

Items are sent in recyclable cardboard, with cardboard padding and solvent-free paper-based tapes and our liniments come in glass bottles wrapped in plant-based, BPA and phthalate-free non-plastic wraps (where the waste is used as fertiliser by farmers to create bio-electricity).
